Open and HONEST relationships are the ones that will work in the long run.
Have you tried being open with him about your feelings? If not, and you still love him, try talking to him. It may fix the problem. If the problem persists and/or you must end the relationship, I'm sorry to say, but you WILL have to hurt him (and yourself) because of the strong feelings that still exist. There will NOT be an easy way to do this, you will just have to tell him how you feel.
I was in a similar situation, and it will hurt both of you. What you have to do is keep your chin up and stand strong. Time keeps moving and all pain eases with time.
I wish you the best and I'm sorry you found yourself in this situation.

It's good that you are realistic and saw the signs before getting further serious with him. Unfortunately, there is no nice way to serve bad news. Tell him it's over, that you care about him, but that you do not trust him and why. If he whines or gets dramatic, calmly repeat your point, and say that you will not change your mind. If he respects you, he will respect your decision and not make a scene. If he doesn't respect your decision and/or causes a scene, then you know without a doubt that you made the right decision to dump him. A lier does not deserve a good person in their life, and if they will not change permanently, end of story.

Have you tried sitting down talking to him about his constent lieing? True love is hard to find and if you know he is the one maybe try some counseling before you break his heart and yours sometimes it can help, the love you feel he has for you is something most woman pray for and dream of so try a few different things before you take a drastict measure like break up..Good Luck hun and I hope everything works out for the 2 of you's because a love so sweet is hard to find...

have you tried confronting him and asking him why he cant be honest and give you truthful answers to even the simplest things? If you've already tried this approach then I say its probably best that you let him go if you don't think you can handle it. If you havent tried this approach, then I would try it and then give him time to straighten up. if he cant, then leave him. I know how hard this situation can be. I've asked myself similar questions.
