I suffer from eczema. For years, my scalp has been itchy, but it usually goes away. However, this time it's different. I've been losing a little hair and it itches in only one spot. I fear I might have ringworm. How can I tell, and how can I treat this?

Use teatree oil...works wonders for everything...its an antifungal (which is what ringworm is - a fungus) AND it will help moisturize any dry skin you have. I personally love the smell of it, but a lot of people find it gross. :) You can find it in any vitamin section. :) Good luck!

I'm soo sorry you have eczema. For the Scalp just use ointement that is less hash on your skin. like Vaseline or Rose bud salve. I know you can probably get the Vaseline but the Rose Bud Salve is a bit difficult to find. Use it on the spot that is itching it might not go away but it will help reduce the the ichyness. Go to the doctor and get checked out because it seemes serious. It's better to treat it earlier than later. Have a nice evening.

Use Neutrogena T-Gel shampoo for about one or two weeks. Works wonders!

you should have it checked with a doctor, especially if you think you might have ringworm. but the best way is to use head and shoulders. make sure you clean your hair thoroughly also.
