George Steinbrenner. He has been trying to buy pennants (and sometimes succeeding) for decades. His feuds with managers and some players are legendary. He is a nasty piece of businesss and was suspended for a time from running the Yankees - but managed to worm his way back.
My second choice seems odd, but it would be the late Avery Brundage, who headed the International Olympic Committee for many years. He set the tone for the IOC's arrogance, and he screwed over quite a few American athletes as head of the U.S. Olympic Committee before that. He is widely regarded as anti-Semitic, though the jury is still out on that one.

Bonds is the most hated man in sports, but, Mark Cuban, the mavs owner and Ozzie Guillen, the ChiSOX mgr, are tied for a close second. The mavs owner needs to stay out of sight, and, learn to conduct himself as a professional, and poor ol' Ozzie needs to tone down his comments. My mom always said, no one will never know how stupid you are until you open your mouth. Ozzie and Cuban, both, should take my mom's advice.

The most hated person man in sports has to Jason Grimsley because he wasn't that great and was with a lot of teams and started to name names because he took growth hormons and he is in trouble with the cops and FBI that is a lot to get hated at.

losts of people! Barry Bonds is the really big one! How about Ozzie Gullien? Did anyone forget about him? He is probably one of the most hated because of all the things he has caused and the stuff between him a Jay Mariotti.

GEORGE STEINBRENNER!...hands down, the biggest blowhard to ever hit the game of baseball....Georgie's "blank check" attitude towards the World Series has gotten them how many rings since 2000?...the next one on the list is Kobe Bryant, the man responsible for throwing Shaq under the bus...Bryant takes 70% of the shots and allows his teammates to stand around in disbelief...overpriced and overrated! Bryant will never win another NBA title!
