I thought I had heard somewhere that it might be a sign of thyroid problems. Can anyone help me?

dehydration and anemia ( low iron levels) are two things that cause a salt craving

See your Dr. asap, and don't over do it on the salt...You could do some serious damage to your kidneys. (drink lots of water)

Or it can be you haven't had enough fluids and you are dehydrated. Simple blood test at the doctor can tell if either are true.

you might have blood pressure problems. there is such thing as low blood pressure. you might wanna go to the doc and get that checked out. i ain't no md.
