I've had a couple of ghostly experiences and I always love to hear of other peoples encounters. Recordings, pictures, experiences, all of it. Let me know what you've got.

Back in my wandering hippie days a busload of us crashed at an old house in Boulder Colorado. One of the women awoke from a nap upstairs screaming, saying a little girl was trying to steal her body.

Our host passed a couple of joints around and told the story of the original residents. It seems their young daughter had died of typhoid, and they were in such denial of it that they just left her body to rot in her upstairs bedroom. Deprived of a proper burial, the girl's spirit never left the house. The next owner had walled off the room, even going so far as to seal it with lead. We were starting to have some fun with the story when there was suddenly a loud bang from the wall in question, causing a number of things to fall down.

We decided then to go out for ice cream, and we all slept downstairs on the living room floor that night.

Three months after my husband died I awoke at approx 2am to see a dense shadow near my bed. Where the shadow was standing would have been impossible as that was where my mum had left a breakfast table for the morning. I realized that it was my husband's silhouette. Usually, I wouldn't wake from sleep so easily. I felt completely calm. I heard the front door bell ring, and then heard urgent knocking on the door. My sister was outside yelling to get in. The shadow slowly dissipated, so I got up, went downstairs, and opened the front door to let her in. She looked strange and said she had suddenly felt a freezing cold draft, and felt something wasn't right. A month later my young daughter woke me and pointed towards the corner of the bedroom and said 'Shadow mummy'. The light was switched on in the room. So how could she have seen a shadow?

My son and I were on Warm Springs Trail in Death Valley. We stopped at an old talc mine to camp for the night. It was early evening. I looked up from what I was doing, and saw a man about 80 feet away from us. He had on jeans and a long sleeved white shirt. He was standing with his hands on his hips, watching us. I couldn't believe that we were in Death Valley and STILL ended up camping near someone else. I was a little irritated. After a few minutes, I decided to walk over and talk to the guy to see what he was like. Some people in the desert can be pretty odd. The Manson Family hangout is on Warm Springs Trail. So I walked over there and there was no man, no car, nothing. The desert is very quiet, and we would have heard his vehicle if he had gone up the trail climbing over the rocks, and he couldn't have gone down because we were 10 feet from the trail. He certainly wasn't out walking with no gear in Death Valley in the summer. I saw him quite clearly. He was there, and then he wasn't.

When I went to Ireland with my mother our last night was in one of the oldest hotels in Galway. After my mother went to bed, I could not sleep so decided to go down to the lobby. I did not realize it was so late as I was still on USA time. I got totally turned around on the way back up to the room. I was wandering down a hallway in what I later learned was one of the oldest sections of the hotel when I saw an elderly lady dressed in a long nightgown with one of those ole timey sleep caps-the frilly ones. I asked her how to find my room {whatever the # was}. She gave me directions. I went back to the room and promptly went to sleep. The next morning I was telling the waitress about it. She got very pale and told me I had seen one of the ghosts that live in the hotel. It was one of the deceased guests that had lived in the hotel back in the 1800's.
