Which is better, a real tan or a fake tan?

a real tan because that no sun tanning stuff can turn u orange sometimes and uv rays can give u cancer and they cost tons of money and besides it's so much easier 2 just go outside on a sunny day and lay out and read a good book than waste money on that no sun tanning stuff or the tanning bed!

There are pros and cons to both. You can die from skin cancer from repeated "real" tans. But, a lot of fake tans are a tad too orange. So, tan only as much as you can with the highest sun screen available. This should still give you a nice tan. Then, use a tan enhancer like Jergens Natural Glow to make the tan more defined without the health risks. If you already have some natural tan, this lotion does not look orange if used properly. Lotion is also very healthy for your skin.

Real tan makes for a better tan, but also ruins your skin. I have fair skin, but do not tan often because I'd rather look younger longer than have dark skin. If you do tan make sure to moisturize. (I like cocoa butter)

real tan is prettier, and out of that I think mountain tan is nicer than beach tan... but fake and bake works just fine for people with sensitive skin

I vote for the fake....After years of tanning...which I do well...My skin is beginning to look like leather....:(
