I believe it is wrong for several reasons.
1) The baby is a person, so it is, in fact murder. At conception, the baby has it's own DNA and blood type. By the time a woman find out she is pregnant, the baby already has it's own arms, legs and a heartbeat. At 9 weeks he/she can feel pain. The Baby can be born at 4 months and survive. The skeleton is formed in the second month. You cannot tell me that child is not a person, it is, and he/she has just as much right to live as you and me.
2) While I am a little more on the fence when it comes to rape and incest, the fact is that less than 1% of abortions each year are results of these.
3) The are many consequences of abortion on the mother as well as on the baby. During the abortion the mother can hemorrhage, the uterus can be punctured or tore (both of the these can result in the removal of the uterus, meaning no more kids even if the woman wants them), and infection ranging from mild to fatal. Long-term it can also result in severe guilt and depression, miscarriages, premature delivery because of damage to the cervix and tubal pregnancies.
4) "Nor shall any State deprive any PERSON of life, liberty or property without due process of law; nor deny any PERSON within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws." 14th Amendment of the Constitution, Section 1 (emphasis added)
5) 98% of doctors take the Hippocratic oath. Part of this oath is swearing to not intentionally do harm. Abortion most definitely qualifies as "doing harm," therefore for any doctor who performs an abortion is violating an oath. I don't know about you, but that's not the kind of person I would want treating me.

I am against abortion as a method of birth control. Moral judgements aside, I just have a hard time accepting termination of a pregancy for that reason. Years ago when my sister became pregnant out of wedlock, it was considered a disgrace. (She did give birth to the child). Today it is pretty much socially acceptable, though still may be very difficult for a young girl. With that, it is much more redeeming to see the birth through and allow the baby to be adopted by a person or family. If the mother is young, it may be difficult, but so much easier to accept later in life than an abortion, I believe.
This is not necessarily my view in cases of rape, incest or danger to the mother's health.
And regardless of MY PERSONAL view, I do not believe abortion should be illegal.

I am against it if it is a method of replacing birth control. I think people should become more responsible and not consider abortion a way out, because it is a living thing. And covering up a mistake isn't a way to deal with it. However, if it is due to rape or the pregnancy could put the mother at a health risk...and no other choice is available, then it would be acceptable.

I don't thing abortion should be used as a method of birth control. You know...oh well, what if i get pregnant?! I'll just get an abortion. I think that is irresponsible. If you think you are old enough and mature enough to have sex, then be responsible about it. There are instances in which I think abortion would be the appropriate choice to make. If there is a rape involved, if health issues come into play, those types of things. If people would just take more responsibility when having sex, I don't think abortion would be such a big issue.

I'm against abortion because I believe that neither you nor I are any better than the baby who is developing in the mothers fetus. In the extremely rare ocassions where the mothers life is at risk then I think medical professionals should do everything possible to save both lives. If that is not possible or is unlikely, then I believe the mother should be able to decide whose life to save.
I have yet to meet anyone who favored abortion for any reason other than selfishness.

I am against abortion, unless it is a life and death situation for the mother.
The reason, two of them in fact. Both are sitting on the couch watching Camp Lazlo. When people talk about abortion, I think what my life would be like without them. I wonder how much darker my days would be without my daughter's smile. I wonder if I would ever feel my heart swell when my son tells me that "We're best buddies.." I wonder how someone could deny another person their chance to live.

I think you have too many decisions you can make before actually having unprotected sex and getting yourself knocked up, to cop out and choose abortion, I think you should have to live with your decisions. Don't be so general, people who don't understand why people don't use their freakin heads when it comes to birth control don't use that argument in severe circumstances. AND why wouldn't a man have something to say about it?? It's half his. The woman can make him pay whether he wanted it or not, why can't a man have a say?? Period!

because it is not okay to not take responsiblility for your actions(if a rape occurs then take a morning after pill) we might as well be saying you can have unprotected sex, we don't care. life and death situations rarely happen in our modern medicine world, also you should get tested for things that can cause complications BEFORE having unprotected sex. i am against abortion after 7 months which is the time when the fetus has developed enough to survive birth. Besides what are the arguments for abortion!?! contraception is available for rapes and people who know they will face complications; and don't feed me that I CAN DO WHAT I WANT WITH MY BODY crap, so are you saying you have the right to commit suicide and prostitution?!?

I can't say its murder??? Can I say its killing? Can I say its stopping a life? Can I say its child genocide???
If you can't support a child why don't the sluts close their legs?
Ok for all those that are telling me to keep my penis in my pants.. then do I get a choice to say if my baby lives and the woman has to give birth and then give me full custody???

As a man....I feel abortion is a WOMEN'S ISSUE ONLY!!!! PERIOD!!!! If there is a Doctor willing to perform an abortion and a woman wants one....then THAT is between the woman and the doctor.....in a religious/spiritual sense...that is between a woman and her conscience and GOD-(or her idea/beliefs of God), and the doctor's conscience and GOD! CASE CLOSED!
