Would free Healthcare and Education be a boon or a bust to the US economy? If people got to choose where to go and then use a government paid card to pay for these things. The card would cover all expenses for a medium level of healthcare care and anything life threatening. It could also be used at a college or university of your choice to pay for tuition as long as it met a few basic requirements.

The taxpayers would pay for it of course. A redistrobution of wealth through taxes that mostly would come from the rich and go to the poor as usual. The rich can earn 10% of of their money for just having it sit diversified in the market. Money now is worth more than money in the future. The rich make money easier so I think it's ok to tax them a bit. Education and healthcare would give everybody the same oppurtunity to go after their dreams.

Why do poor people often worry about taxes when they are the beneficiaries? The rich pay the most because the

There are many countries that have free health care and education and their economies are fine. It just depends on how it was handled. As for the rich paying more taxes, that's a crock of Sugar Honey Ice Tea. The rich people of this country have the ability to pay high priced attorneys to find all the loop holes that get them out of paying their fair share. The middle class is the group that pays the most because they make too much money to get it all back and not enough to qualify for all the loopholes. If everyone paid ten percent of their income without loopholes or returns, then we'd be able to afford free health care and education without question and it would eliminate the national debt for good. The problem is that the rich are the ones with all the control and they would never be okay with that.

It would be a boon, health improvements have meant more stable and more dependable employees in every country that upgraded their health. Education is also real good for economies, freeing up education might even be the direct cause of the industrial revolution and the cause of the current tech revolution that we are living through now. Free health care is also more economical to the economy of the country that employs it. USA subsidizes hospitals and medical companies to the extent that the US peoples pay twice as much in taxes per person for health care as they do in Canada and Canada has free universal health care in most if not all provinces, the most noticeable difference being Alberta, the most right wing redneck province in Canada and the one most like the states. The rich are the most benefitted because they have educated people to employ making new products to sell, and those people are not getting sick and spreading plagues to the rich or to the richs' kids

why should healthcare be free, doctors work hard and go to college to earn degrees, why should they work for free? Why distribute wealth, people work to earn money, you are rewarding laziness, and promoting a terrible work ethic by stealing from one group to give to another group, stealing is wrong.wealth envy is wrong.
