Pittsnogle is a tremendous shooting bigman. He has proven time and again that he can not only knock down shots from outside with consistency, but also big shots in big game stuations (Dallas could have used this when Dirk Nowitzki was double teamed by Miami in the Finals). He fills this deep team's only glaring need, a quality bigman to relieve Dirk as a quality shooter/scorer. He could also play with Dirk at center to give Dallas another look.
Pittsnogle could help Dallas reach the next level (a championship), his shooting ability can spread the floor by forcing a big man to guard him on the perimeter. Other than Dirk, Dallas doesn't have a big man on the roster with that type of ability. Kevin is a hard worker, and in the past year he worked hard on improving his athleticism and quickness, which is allowing him to score and rebound better.
Has good competitiveness and toughness. Excellent free throw shooter at 85%. Great maturity, four year player at West Virginia. His passing skills and ball protection have improved in his senior year. Has added a nice turn around jump hook to his offensive game.
Drafting Kevin Pittsnogle, Devin Harris and Josh Howard in three consecutive drafts would be tremendous for Dallas.

Kevin Pittsnogle because he is the next Dirk if he increases his speed and gets somewhat of a decent post game. Dirk fits the mavs why wouldnt pittsnogle he can shoot the lights out of the ball and can really add to the system. when hes open 90% chance its going in . i think he will go to the mavs
