My photo teacher had a VERY interesting theory,
in which in order for Voldemort to die, Harry must die.

Will I guess for the series to end someone has to die Voldermore or Harry. I wish it was Voldermore but if it has to be Harry so be it. But if Rowling doesn't want a squel then Voldermore has to be killed off too. So one other character will want a piece of Voldermore and so something has to happen to that character or else you have a spin off series.
In real life the good always die young anyways and even though Harry life has been a short but painful one, it would be nice for experince some happiness in his life. Since it was Voldermore that has cause the misery in Harry's life up until now. But she said there were only going to be seven books in the series I guess Harry's number is up.

I love Harry Potter books. They are enthralling and I have read/seen all of them up to this point. I am very excited about the final book. I don't care if she kills off Harry, it's hers.
I would like to see Harry become the great wizard and take over at Hogwarts, but that's not up to me. I hope that Draco gets knocked off or maybe Snape. Just some characters are made to be disliked.
My son thinks that Ron and Hermoine may be next. So far the only ones knocked off have been those close to Harry.

I hate to say it, but I have always thought that Harry would have to die. He has matured to the point where he can make the ultimate sacrifice for the love of his friends. It may be that the only way Voldemort can be defeated is by the death of someone who is giving his life for someone he loves. Just look what happened when Lily died for Harry! Voldemort would have died then, if it wasn't for the hoarcruxes. If the hoarcruxes are destroyed, and Harry then dies to save someone else, then Voldemort would be gone for good.

Harry has survived 6 very tough years. He can survive one more too.
Voldemort has to die, along with maybe Snape.
If, at all, J. K. Rowling wants to end Harry's life, Ron would be a better replacement. Death of Harry will leave a bad taste for all his fans.

This has always been my theory
Harry will realize that he is the last horcrux (sp?) and that he will have to give his life in order for voldemort to be killed (from the last book "Neither Can live while the other survives" or something like that) So Harry will have to die so that someone else can kill voldemort, and she`ll probablyy just kill off hermione for a reaction

This news isn't too shocking. I figured Harry would die after killing Voldemort when Rowling said there would be definitley only seven books. I guess she's trying to keep it a gemstone without the possibility of someone else ever finding it, if you know what I mean! ;P

She can not kill Harry. His parents risked their lives for him. He has been throw so much to get so far. It would all be for nothing.
I think this is just a media push.
