It's not too late now, Plant spring flowers in the shaded areas.

You forgot to tell us where you are in the world. Antarctica? Alabama? Alaska?

My crystal ball is at the cleaner's, but in the Northern hemisphere you've got a shot.

You can plant some flowers for next spring or you can still plant some flowers for this summer, but they will have to be fast growing ones. Look on the back of the seed packet to see how long it takes them to mature.

No it just depends on what kind of flowers. Look at the back of the package to see how long it takes for them to bloom. I think you can still have some, maybe in late August or Early September. That's a few months of enjoyment.

I have tried the roll and grow and did not have any success, but it isn't that much trouble so why not give it a try. Just be sure that you kill out the weeds and grass where you are going to roll them out, and put up some kind of barrier so that you can keep them at bay. Keep the flowers moist until they start to grow, I think mine got too dry, and that stuff they grow them on drys out very fast.
