Did you go to a hs graduation on Sat ? Tell me your story :)?

I went to my sis's grad on Sat & it was awesome ! She won a ton of awards :D (H) (Y) She won prob 1/3 of the awards!!! There are a total of bout 30 in all & she got 9 envelopes (certificates/letters/scholarships/cheques). She also got this one award just for living where she lives. The Ladies Auxillary gave her a nice grad frame that can hold a bunch of pics :) She won a total of $8200!!! I'm so proud of my sis !!! She's so smart !!! She must be the 2nd smartest in her class, but smartest girl. She just about got highest mark (well, tied) for this one course & the girl who won it got 99% !!! :( My sis got 98%... so if she woulda work a LIL harder... she coulda tied her & it prob would have been one of those "first time ever" things. There were 2 "first time ever" things for awards actually. She got 3 certificates or something for highest marks in 3 courses. So it coulda been 4... The guy who won a lot too doesn't even need the $ cuz his dad's a Dr... My mom's might have to get a loan.

She's going to university & she plans on living in the dorm. But of that $8200 she can only spend $3500 however she likes. I think she should spend some of it on fixing her laptop. Our sis musta dropped the laptop on the floor cuz the modem broke... Idiot sis !!!! :@ :( (N) Oh & we stayed really late for the dance too. Her escort even happens to have the same last name as us. lol. The fact that he was walking fast & that their arms weren't linked prob esp made peeps think that they're cuz's... He's a friend of our cuz actually. He was just barely touching my sis & my Mom when he had to dance wit her... He danced wit our cuz tho !!! They were dancing like a couple !!! Kinda glad that our sis didn't see that tho. And, someone got cake on my sis's cap... :( So now it's stained. GEEEEEEZ !!! I took a bunch of pics so I'ma get them dev'd today. :) My Mom went to Wal Mart to dev them actually. I'm getting doubles. I bought a disp. cam for $12 that has like 37 or 39 exposures :)

Sorry for this being so long but I'm one of those "long-winded" peeps.... ha ha ha ha ha !!! :P Her escort almost didn't make it either ! Well, he was supposed to get a ride w/ my auntie but then they decided not to go (she didn't come to mine or our sis's grad either) then we heard that she WAS gonna go... Good thing that my Mom wired him some money ! It cost $60 for him to catch da bus but it really shoulda only cost $40. It was $20 to wire it. I just just JUST made it in time for everything to start too. My auntie came to pick up me & my cuz. There wasn't enough room in da car for the graduate, the 3 sis's of the graduate, :P our niece (whose 3.5 mos old) & our cuz to get to town. We even forgot da truck in town on Sat....ha ha ha ha. Cuz we were too preoccupied thinking bout how Ernie (her escort) was gonna get out there on da bus. It was da BEST grad that all of us who were there for my sis ever attended !!! They kept on calling her name for awards. She's a smartie & goin to Uni:)

MY school has never had a graduation on Sat. It is alway on Friday.
