It seems like an oxymoron to me since Anaheim is not in Los Angeles. I grew up with the Angels when they were the California Angels, then changed to the Anaheim Angels.

As an Angels fan I don't really care what other names they add as long as they keep the Angel part of their name. Besides LA Angels was their original name when they first became a Major League team in the 60s. Also I'd much rather have the owner the Angels have than some guy who is not going to spend on the team.

I don't really care but I think it is kind of stupid they even changed it in the first place because who really cares!?I don't understand what was wrong with the Anaheim Angels....nothing wrong with that.
