I planted a tomato plant like a month and a half ago, I live in an apartment so I purchased a Topsy turny tomato grower which seems to be working very well but I was just wondering when the tomatos will start blooming. The plant is getting longer and growing more leaves, is it too early for tomotos???
Thanks for your input!

Most tomato plants take from 60 to 75 days from planting to harvest. Make sure it gets plenty of sunshine, though, and a balanced fertilizer.

For the tomatoes water them and feed them daily. Soon enough they will bloom, it needs warmer weather. I would estimate in about a week or two them will bloom. Watch out for green speheres in a couple of days, that means that they are babies still growing, if you don't see this there might be a problem.
GOOD LUCK
;)

Ripe tomatoes are a mid July - mid August kinda thing.

In the apartment, they may run a little late.

Mine are small and green at this point.

Yes, it's too early...wait for a yellow flower, should be soon...and then wait again for fruit to grow and ripen...maybe by the end of July you will be enjoying your bounty
