The magic eraser by Mr.clean is the top best for this type of problem. It took off a 4 year old scuff mark, and numerous markers including permanent markers

Okay. So when I was three, I got a hold of a permanent marker and took it to my parents' fridge. My mother grabbed a tube of toothpaste and a washcloth. She gently rubbed the toothpaste into the marker and it came right off. My niece did the same thing recently and I tried toothpaste. It worked. Then all you have to do is rinse it. But this might be a bit different because the plastic from the calculator may have soaked up the ink. Give toothpaste a try.

My little brother just did the same thing on my white pants with a sharpie. They are soaking in shout out at the moment. It is coming out, but have not been able to tell if it will come out all the way. You can try it on the lamp shade with a little brissle brush or old toothbrush. Hope that works!

This might sound strange...but a few people have told me that COCA COLA removes permanent marker! I did locate a web page of quick solutions for common problems and it shows this:

< Permanent marker on appliances/counter tops (like store receipt BLUE!) Rubbing alcohol on paper towel.>

I hope this helps!

Yeah!! Use Simple Green All Purpose Cleaner. It is yellow, lemon scent. It got black sharpie marker off of my desk. I sprayed it on, and seriously, 5 seconds later, I wiped it off as though it was nothing. I will use that stuff FOREVER!
