We planned on getting married last may but he left for the D.O.C. while he was gone I got into a fight and now I'm on probation for it. I know we're not the only two in the world on probation/parole that are together. How do we go about this? Do we have to get a lawyer or do we just hurry up and get married then tell our P.O's? Please help!

When on probation there's generally a requirement to inform the probation officer BEFORE changes in living conditions. Getting married seems like it would qualify as a change in living conditions.

Let them know ahead of time. Unless there are restraining orders between the two of you I can't imagine there would be any problems. But only you know your situation.

Well... that depends on if his conditions of parole state that the two of you aren't allowed to be around each other. If not, then there is no stopping you from getting married. You don't have to do anything but notify them of your marriage....

Each of you need to talk to your P.O.s about it. It's better to be upfront BEFORE than to do it behind their backs and risk getting into trouble.

Good luck!
