i got one and i love it,if you love it why,and what dont you like about it?the only thing so far is lack of cool games,but the ds is rather new.........

Simply put, the system is much easier to hold and handle for extended periods of time and your hand doesn't get tired nearly as easy, especially games involving a lot of play with the touch screen where you can only hold it with one hand such as Meteos or games that require frequent use of the L and R shoulder buttons such as Mario Kart DS.
The adjustable brightness on the screen helps, especially if you're trying to save battery power without turning it off completely.

I have the original model I bought last year but in white (don't ask where I got it) so people think it's a DS lite from the outside.
I like my DS regardless and have no plans to get a lite, but if I had a choice now I'd get the lite over the original since it's the same price.

i have nentendo ds but not lite. i think that it was stupid to make a new one cuz the only difference is that you can adjust the light but on the regular one u can cut it on and off. i like the regular one better.

I have a ds but I don't think that a light is necessary. It already has a built in light.
