No, it's not quite dead yet. But to keep it from looking tacky, you should stick to just doing a small design on the big toe. You could use the rhinestones as petals for a flower. But leave the rest bare, and only paint them. It looks much cuter that way.

I think they are still in style i am wearing some right now and i think that they are cute and so do my sister & friends.

they seem to little girlish. try shimmer polish that will make them shine and be more noticable.
