That's exactly what it is. Evolution is nothing more than another false man made religion

Evolution is a genetic process that occurs as biological traits and needs of a species change over time. For instance, humans are not the hunting, meat eating, predators we once were. As a result, the human jaw is growing smaller from 32 teeth to many people being born with just 28 teeth because our diets have changed. Many people today are born without appendixes, they don't really do anything for us, so we don't really need them. These are very small examples of a process that happens over thousands of years to thousands of individuals within a species. The lucky ones that survive to breed, pass on their good genetic traits until eventually the less desirable genetic traits don't occur anymore in the species. That's natural selection. Evolution doesn't happen overnight and when it does, it's effects are seen within generations, not families or individual lifetimes. Evolution occurs within nature, religion occurs within mankind. You really can't compare the two.

Religious types see religious things everywhere. Religious loonies fear that evolution means there is no God, or that God used "random" processes to make life and humanity.

But evolution is not random. Example: when you were conceived, one sperm out of millions fertilized the egg. If a different sperm had made it, you would be a girl, or a blond, or a dwarf. But would that mean that God loved you any less?

Yet the sperm that made you was not random. It was faster and stronger than the rest, so natural selection favored it. This is the beauty of evolution by natural selection, forever perfecting living things.

re·li·gion

Belief in and reverence for a supernatural power or powers regarded as creator and governor of the universe.
A personal or institutionalized system grounded in such belief and worship.
The life or condition of a person in a religious order.
A set of beliefs, values, and practices based on the teachings of a spiritual leader.
A cause, principle, or activity pursued with zeal or conscientious devotion.

so nope. There is tangible evidence to support evolution, there is no spritual leader that promotes or teaches it. It was discovered by a man who had no religious affiliation, it is not supernatural, and it is not worshiped. It is not a cause just an explination not a principle or an activity and no one is devoted to it, just devoted to finding out the truth.

I think all religion, and many things like Evolution are theories. It probably can never be proven, though there is strong evidence in favor of evolution.
