Go to your local mall, find a Sephora or MAC cosemtics(availible at macy's, sephora, as well as their own stores), and get your make up done. At Sephora they can actually create a look for you for free. Around this time many companies actually create special packages that include everything you need to look special. Make sure to ask for some photo quality make up or photo face primer.

But incase you don't make it here's the backup.

You will need mascara, a soft tip black eyeliner, a pretty shade of lip gloss/lipstick that's not too overbearing on your tone, go for sheer but shimmery rather than chicken bucket greasy and glossy.

Make sure to wash your face accordingly and use a really good moisturizer or else the make up may not take well to your skin. This moisturizing step is really important in making sure your skin looks the best it possible can - hyrdrated and not dryed out and dull. You might even want to use a mask or a face scrub to get that "fresh" look.

I don't wear foundation so I'm not an expert in it, but I'm sure one someone else's answer might cover that.

Line you bottom lids with the black eyeliner. If you mess up, don't worry, you can always take a rolled up tissue paper or Q-tip to wipe away the mistakes.

For the top eyelid place thick, but light lines on you lid on both sides. Next using one of your fingers, most likely your index finger, smudge the liner to create a Smokey eye effect.

You can control how smudge and how intense you want it to be by drawing more liner and smudging it, but be aware that the more intense it is, the less make up will be able to stay on the actually eyelid and if you are going to be out for a while, you might result in a premature makeup melt down (unless you have access to really expensive liner).

Next take the mascara and place it on your lashes. A trip to avoiding cakey lashes is to let your mascara dry in the air for about 10 seconds before applying. Apply the mascara on the back of the top lashes first, then on your lower lashes, and last on the front of your top lashes. Do this no more than three time at the most. If you want more dramatic lashes, you'll have to switch the mascara.

Last but not least apply your gloss/lipstick. Avoid matte! Matte lipsticks can make you look toooo old. But you don't want to go for the most ridiculous gloss either. Find a delicate balance. I have found that peach tone shimmer glosses look nice on most skin tones. Pick the color based on if your skin is a warm toned or cool toned color.

Good luck and Congratulations on making it!

Pick an eyeshadow that will make your eyes stand out!
Brown eyes - Green
Green eyes - Purple
Blue eyes - Brown
Rim your top and botton lids with the color for your eyes and line the top lid with a liquid liner, but only on half of your lid. Coat your top lashes with 3 coats of mascara, and you'll look super glamourous.

First, do not go crazy on makeup...You want to look natural, g" You could also go for a little sun kiss look with a brozer or a shimmery powder...This way you will stand out...
