It could be any number of things from reflux to a bum gallbladder, best way to find out exactly what it is? Go see a doctor instead of trying to get diagnosed on line.

Not neccessarily, there are other gastrointestinal problems that result in severe stomach pain. I would go to a specialist and have an endoscopy done to see what's going on in there.

Which side? If it's the right it could be appendicitis or gastritis. If it continues, please call a doctor or go to an urgent care center just to be sure.
