Acne Associated with Dairy Intake

A new Harvard study links dairy products to adolescent acne. A group of 47,000 women from the Nurses’ Health Study was asked to provide information about several aspects of their diet during high school as well as any incidence of physician-diagnosed severe teenage acne. Researchers noted a positive association with total milk and skim milk consumption, along with instant breakfast drinks, sherbet, cottage cheese, and cream cheese. No association was found with several other foods often thought to affect acne, including soda, french fries, chocolate candy, and pizza. The scientists postulate that hormones and bioactive ingredients found in milk may be responsible.

try the putting face over boiling water to open pores. That wont HEAL acne, but will keep your pores cleaner to prevent less breakouts. I have had bouts with zits for awhile and I'm 27 with two children. I have sorta figured out a few things i use to keep it under control. You Can email me if you want more info. Basically just a few products from over the counter and a routine on how to use them, that's all.

Dial soap and sugar!
Mix dial sopa w/ sugar until you het a paste consistensy. wash ur face in the morning and at night before you go to sleep at night and this should work. It worked for me when i was younger and it worked for my cousin as well.
The only con is that it might get ur face a lil dry b/c of the dial soap. so use a face mousturizer that has no oils and that should help the dryness. I hope ur acne gets better w/ this.
Good luck!!

Homemade- oatmeal and honey facial mask. You basically just use the oatmeal and honey and spread it over your face to clarify skin. Also, I wanted to let you know that your name should not be ugly girl...I know I havent seen you and that at times every one may feel ugly, but there is nothing ugly about growing up and going through changes. I went through it too and it gets better, but one thing that helps is the way you think about yourself. Honest to goodness it helps when you try your best to change your thoughts- the acne will get better and you will feel a lot better. God Bless.

It's trial and err... sometimes acnee is caused by what you eat... so find out what makes you break out more... and then you'll know what to stay away from... Otherwise gentle cleaning, with a peroxide face cleanser which kills the bacteria that's infecting the skin farther... But if you want to nail it, go for the real thing, use professional products, they work!

1. toothpaste.. not the gel.. on zits at bedtime.

2. Wash thoroughly with hot (as hot as you can stand it) water then rinse with cold.

3. Alcohol or hydrogen peroxide as astringents. Careful with the peroxide though. It will discolor eyebrows.

4. Egg white on T-zone allow to dry and keep on for 5 minutes longer. Then wash thoroughly

I tried these. They all seemed to work for me, but different results may occur for you. Good luck!

My concern is your nickname. Acne doesnt make you ugly, its just something you have to deal with like dark circles under the eyes, or dry skin, or hair in places you dont want it. It'll get better, dont worry.

Now, for the advice. I strongly suggest trying this website {www.acne.org} and using his regimen, it worked wonders for my boyfriend his skin looks wonderful. Most people arent allergic to this but you must follow it to the letter for results. Good Luck, kid.

toothpaste on it dries it out
alcohol does the same

oatmeal and water dries out the oil on your skin

cucumbers get rid of puffy eyes from crying or staying up all nite

baking soda or hydrogen peroxide on an unused toothbrush with water for white teeth

basil and warm water for toothache
and clear fingernail polish "brush the tooth"

and thats all i can think of right off

oh yeah wash your hair in vinegar or beer once a week for that "tv quality" shine:)
