I don't think you are but like you said other women in your family have. Our periods do change from time to time. Even the normal ones can change as well. Sometimes when your mind is set on something your body can even show the signs to a point. Believe me I have done that before too.

um, well you certainly do have a few symptoms, but call your doctor first before panicing. As for your boobs getting bigger, you could be putting on weight from the milk you crave. Its not unusual. The areolas getting darker is a sign, but not craving milk. That indicates a calcium deficency. Gas can be caused by a number of things and burps are simply air in the stomach from eatting too quickly then forcefully projecting it out. Sleeplessness can be caused by a number of things also, mainly stress and not enough exercise. You need to go to an OBGYN okay? Just make an appointment and they'll take good care of you.

Honestly everything is pointing to pregnancy however you wont be the first woman to experience all these symptoms and not be pregers!! are you on the pill? do you want this baby if you are??
Brown spotting and signs of red could just be a very light period and the back pain could be associated with period also. I have experience all those things without being pregnant,Ive had 5 pregnancies resulting in 3 babies and the pregnancies were all different. good luck and let me know how you get on. Mags x

It's possible that you're in the rare minority of people who test negatively until further into the pregnancy. It's also possible that you really aren't pregnant and something serious is going on.
All the symptoms you listed point out pregnancy, but many of the symptoms don't usually occur until quite a bit later. Also, even if you spotted or bled lightly, this can often be common in early pregnancy. I would until you miss another period to be truly concerned. If you miss another one, see your doctor immediately.

Hun, omg the same thing happend to me, almost exactly last year.
* I know your anxious to find out, even me,
i've had people in my family who bled
through their pregnancy, but you need to
wait until you missed your period.
[I know from experience, but in my case, I think it was because I wanted to be pregnant, it went on for four months, and I was finally really pregnant by the fourth month]
* Don't drive yourself crazy like I did, its alot of
strung out wasted time. Do everything as if
you were your normal self, even if your
preggo, you can take it
[some women go through their normal activities 3 months into pregnancy never hardly knowing]
* test once a week with a generic pregnancy
test
[the cheap ones work really well, I know, especially when you get all the negatives from pricey tests, you don't want to believe it, but I got my positive from a cheapo]
* don't wish yourself pregnant, its not all its
cracked up to be, unless you really want
to be pregnant. Also, make sure to protect
yourself anyway, even if you think you may
be pregnant
[if your trying to prevent it].

i have been going thru the same exact thing.. all of the symptoms point to yes but the home pregnancy tests and the blood test says no.. my dr told me to come back in about 2 weeks if my period still hadnt come [i have one week left and still no period].. so im just waiting.. i was told that some women dont get a yes [as u said] until their 3 month because of lack of the hormone that shows up when u are.. somewhere around the 3rd month it does.. so i guess we have to patiently wait.. sorry i was no help.. just wanted u to know ur not alone

Everyone seems to have missed your main statement, thet you've seen a Doc. Today's tests aren't very different from when you relatives took them. I'd wait it out a few more weeks.. maybe 2 weeks, then take an EPT early responce test or First Responce. These tests have a higher hormone detection percentage. If this comes up false, and you still have problems, see the Doctor again.

Well, first of you, don't freak yourself out and stress about it. Don't be paranoid about it because that will make it seem like every little thing points to pregnancy. If you have elevated stress in your life, that could be the cause for most of those symptoms. Yes, there are rare cases the blood and pregnancy tests could be negative but there are lots of other possible explanations as to why your body is reacting the way it is.

You are just going to have to wait it out until your next period is supposed to be due. Not everyone develops the pregnancy hormone as fast as others do. It's not unnormal to get a negative blood test from the doctor. Start taking vitamins if you think you are pregnant.
It could be a list of lots of other things too.
Best of luck!

Pregnancy tests now are very accurate, in the past there might have beeb more room for inaccuracy, eg with other family members. Most of the symptoms you describe could be due to anxiety and being run down with a urinary infection.
If your breasts are tender, if you have increased vaginal discharge, go back to your nurse/ Dr and report all these symptoms. Another blood test and/or a scan could resolve it for you.
