She's put on weight round her belly and her backside. Yes, she could be pregnant but are there any other reasons why she could put on weight so quickly within 2 weeks

I put weight on very suddenly when i went on the Pill,within two weeks i really ballooned, also some medications can cause it

Could be stress, could be water retention, could be an allergic reaction to something in the house (allergic reactions can cause some people to swell). Definitely should go to a doctor to make sure it's not something serious that might get worse.

It's possible she's pregnant and is going through a food craving phase. Give her some support and encourage her to eat healthily.

Thyroid can creep up on you like that. She could be at the pool drinking calorie laden Pina Coladas!

When women go on the pill it can make them put on weight.
I had a girlfriend once who wouldn't go on the pill for that reason & she made me use those stupid rubber things!!!
We weren't together for very long!!!

She could have a hormone imbalence, thyroid problems, be eating more due to depression, anxiety, boredom....
