To identify those who they thought measured up to what they considered Aryan. This would include Germanic, Anglo-Saxon, and Scandinavian. The Nazis wanted to make sure what they called racially superior controlled not only Germany and Europe but the rest of the world. If you were Jewish or Roma(gypsy) you were not considered as having a life. If you were Slavic(i.e. Russian, Polish, Serbian) you were considered sub-human, perfect for slavery and nothing else. The other races go up from there, no matter what if you were not of Aryan decent you were meant to serve not be served. NO matter how the neo-nazis play it, except for Reinhard Heydrich, none of their leaders come close to the blond hair blue eyed, supposed superiority of the Aryan.

The Nazis didn't just go around killing every person who didn't fit their ideals, they only killed a lot of them, mainly Jews, but also the Polish, Blacks, and some other ethnic groups. I was really interested in World War II, read the entire section on it in my history book as soon as we hit it, and I usually don't read my history book. Hitler's idea of the arian race was mostly as follows: blonde hair, blue eyes, tall, white, and for the most part German. Many of the people who didn't fit that description were shunned from his attention or thrown into concentration camps, where they were worked to death, or death camps in which they were just basically killed off and/or experimented on. No one really knows why Hitler focused so much on killing so many Jews though...there are debates to this day on it.

it comes mostly from fear/hatred of foreigners. In germany between the wars there was a massive depression. almost every german was unhappy. Adolph Hitler decided to blame foreigners, both domestic and abroad for the problems of all germans. The best way to motivate a society is to convince them that they are victims. Therefore, any nongerman in germany became a target. As far as the supreme race, with the blonde hair and blue eyes, it is still a mystery. After all Hitler himself was a brunette. perhaps that was his ideal of what a german should look like.

Jews were scapegoated as the only ones benefiting in the crisis. Their riches go up while others suffered... take them down.
The irony is that if Hitler had to be tested to see if he were Aryan enough, he would have failed - he was dark and part Jewish.
Gays were also singled out to be placed in concentration camps.

I think hitler was put in jail first right, and probably went nuts there thinkin about how Germany was controlled by jews and not germans to the effect of benefiting ethnocentric jews at the expense of his fellow germans. It probably seemed pretty tough to compete with the jews, who had been practicing self-improving eugenics for thousands of years, on their own level, so he decided to do a little fast-paced eugenics of his own or something by wasting everyone... I dunno.

to kill everyone who wasn't perfect, with blonde hair and blue eyes. Nazis killed Jews, handicaps, bisexuals, and anyone who didn't have blonde hair, and blue eyes. They funny thing is that Hitler himself didn't have blonde hair or blue eyes.
