I've learned to tolerate a lot in my life as I've matured but here are a few of my thoughts on living MY life and/or things I appreciate more as I've grown older:

I will not accept any negativity that is unwarranted ...

Love many, trust few. Believe in those around you and accept that people change.

Don't judge others before judging yourselves...

Be good to others and stay true to yourselves.

Go for a walk with a loved one (person or pet)

-Embrace the beauty of the sky...whether it be admiring a storm or taking in a beautiful sunset at the end of the day or maybe just star/moon gazing

-SLEEP IN! (hell ya! Wouldn't that be nice?)

-Smile at a stranger or two or seventeen or even 100...I bet 99% of them smile back :-)

-Appreciate the birds chirping at 4 a.m. instead of being annoyed by them

-Give someone a compliment

-Let the little things slide just for once

-Tell yourself that you're doing a great job at home/school/work/good living

-respect yourself and others....even if you think you/they don't deserve it

-stay positive!

Ok, I'm done. Love many, trust few. Be good to others, stay true to yourselves.

Love one another greatly!!

l find as a mature person I can approach life in a whole different way. When you are younger, a lot of time, people erroneously discount your opinions because of age. I have reached a point in my life that I realize being alone does not necessarily mean being lonely. True friends are counted on one hand. I realize, don't sweat the little things, pick your battles and take one day at a time. Treasure your friends and family and hold them dear, you never know when your last day is here,so live life to its fullest and not at the expense of other people.

How old is mature?
I am in my late forties & I enjoy the same things I did when I was in my twenties.
Age is only a number. You can choose to sit back & take it easy because you are getting older or you can say "Scr*w it, I am not going to let my age prevent me from doing what I want to.
Some people of 30 have less energy & lust for life than some people of 70. This is the same for men as well as women.

Life varies according to ones perspective. I have a positive outlook on life, and it gets me trough some rough times. I accept the changes that life offers, for without the changes, I cannot grow as a person. Each new day offers a chance to start over, as each sunset, is the opportunity to put transgressions behind. I seek wisdom in new experiences, and continue to evolve as a person from it.

I am loving my life the past couple of years in particular, because my old love of 23 years ago found me on the internet and we are back together! The sex life is fantastic. And my disability claim of several years' duration was finally approved this year, so soon I should have some actual money. I have my cats and dog, my computer, my books. I am a happy woman.

I am a simple girl so i like the simple things in life. i love just being goofy with my friends and family. I am mature but silly like a kid - minus the mind games. Also i like being with someone that knows me inside and out that does not have to ask what i am thinking because he knows...i just like everything really that puts a smile on my face :)

I love having the wisdom to forgive myself and others for making mistakes, and the awareness to enjoy every day and every person as the special gifts they are. Turning 50 this year, and I wouldn't be 20 or 30 again for anything!

What is it about life that I like...

I believe I have a purpose in life, as well as everyone else. And when I reflect about who I am, I believe that purpose is to care for others. I have yet to find a guy that wants me to care for them/ I want to care for, but I hope I find him soon. I'm also studying to become a teacher because I love children. So even if I don't marry someone... I can still care for my students =)
