someone syphoned my gas
the electricity went out while i was sleep so i didn't hear the alarm

my car door locks froze and i dumped hot water on them and when i did that the pot accidentally hit the window and broke it so i have to go to the body shop to get it fixed or someone might get into my car,
they let me take the whole day off

i think that you should never make something up for not going to work because if your boss finds out that you were lying then when something really happens then he is not going to belive you i think that you should always go to work.
