If MLK has a day why cant we have one to celebrate the true heroes?

Why not? Traffic always sucks where I live during the 500. It might as well be a holiday.

See, this question is an illustration (that means example) of why people who follow car racing are ignorant rubes (that may be a mutually exclusive term.) Even the few educated NASCAR fans who are reading this are cringing right now because they know that, unfortunately, this reflects negatively on them. Perhaps, if you got an education, you'd know that MLK WAS a great man regardless of your opinions of the movement or those that came after.

Do you know how many thousand people die in car accidents every day? Cars (especially gas-powered) are a necessary evil which society should endure only until a replacement can be found.
