American "football" is simply excruciating to watch: stop-and-go "action", zillions of commercials, ludicrous uniforms (men wearing tights, helmets and sissy shoulder pads), euphemisms galore ("football" when the game is played mainly with the hands; "touchdowns" when the ball is not touched down; and so forth); artificialities, like those cheerleaders (who needs them?).
No wonder this "sport" is nothing but an excrescence, about as popular in worldwide terms as curling ...

World soccer ofcourse american football is boring simply running around with a ball in your hands. World soccer involves quite fantastic skills. Jus look at Ronaldinho, Cristiano Ronaldo or even Samuel Eto'o the way they play around with the ball its so fantastic and entertaining too.

It often has to do with the announcers as well. American soccer announcers on ESPN are utter piece of crap. They can't even say GOAL! Same goes with basketball or baseball in other countries. It's a boring game to watch but the American commentators make an effort to make it more fun
