The Lakers will not win the championship in 2007 because of Kobe not being a team player and his bad decision making during games. Even though the Lakers will sign Kevin Garrnet it isn't enough to get them far into the playoffs they will also need to aquire some strong decent players to assist Kobe and Garrnet both defensively and offensively. Look for the Lakers to enter the playoff but lose in the first round. The Heat will repeat!

The Spurs will win in 2007. Kevin Garnett is not going to the Lakers because he is a superstar (go-to guy) and he is not going to take the back seat to Kobe. He is going to a proven playoff team with a lot of money to spend. Imagine he go to the Spurs - Automatic Championship!!! But seriously, he will go to a contender not a team that is rebuilding. The Lakers are about 3 years away from being a championship contender!!

No. Shaq did not betray the Lakers they traded him. Shaq is on a much better team. Go Miami Heat!! Kobe don't like passing the ball b/c he think he is the team. Shaq is now on a team that plays as a team!! That's why they won this year!! They will get it again next year!! I believe in my team!!

No, they aren't going to win the championship next season. Also, the Timberwolves wouldn't trade Kevin Garnett to another team in the same conference. If they were to trade him, they would trade him to the Eastern Conference. It's the same thing the Lakers did with Shaq. Dallas offered to trade players for Shaq but the Lakers said no because they're in the same conference. You wouldn't want to trade someone and make another team in the same conference better.

they are just rumours...minnesota will not trade garnett for what the lakers are supposedly offering.
also if the wolves decide to trade KG, it would probably be to an East team, why would they trade with the lakers or clippers and have to deal with KG in their own conference.
if it pushes through....the lakers will still not win in 2007 even with garnett since kobe's ego can't accept that. remember the feuds with shaq plus the fact that the lakers has to go through the spurs, mavs and suns in order to get to the finals.
...maybe when duncan, nowitzki and amare retires.

YES ABSOLUTELY! They have an array of young talent to develope. Could get KG over the offeseason. Then there's always the best player in the game KOBE BRYANT to pick the slack. And you don't have to worry about the chemistry between KG and Kobe. KG has got to be the only superstar who would prefer a smaller role offensively and just clean up boards.

the lakers don't have prayer with Mr. Selfish, Kobe Bryant...he was the one who was responsible for throwing Shaq under the bus...no one in the entire league wants to play with Bryant, a self-proclaimed spoiled brat and adulterer...maybe he can buy his wife off with flashy jewelry, but he'll never be a contender again...the solution: trade bryant to the clippers where he can find out what being a "team player" is all about with Sam "I AM" Cassell....ps...Bryant, not Shaq, wanted to be traded to the Clippers for all you Laker fans out there!
