I use something called "Dr. Bronner's 18-in-1 Pure Castille Soap." The "flavor" I use is peppermint. The bottle has very strange religious and philosophical writings all over the label. But it's gentle, very, very refreshing, and goes a long way. Some drugstores have it, but I usually get it from healthfood stores.
(I thought I'd look it up to make sure I got the spelling right, & found that you can buy it - very economically - from amazon.com. That's their link below. By the way, I have no connection to the soap manufacturer, nor to amazon.com; the only vested interest I have in recommending this soap to you is that the more people who use it, the less chance there'll be that the company will go out of business & I won't be able to buy it anymore. Good luck.)

The best soap is the soap you bring with you, because you know where its been. If the first place you wash is your face and the last is your butt then the next time .... you see where this is going... would you want to use the soap from the last place the last person washed?

None at all. Soap is very drying. Try going several showers with just a warm water rinse. You'll have to stick it out for a few days, but after awhile, you'll love the results. Don't buy into the advertising hype!

A mild soap is the best. Dove is a good mild soap. You don't want to use abrasive soaps because they can irritate the delicate skin on the face.

The best thing for your skin is to use a facial soap, not body soap. I keep a bottle of face wash that fits my skin type in the shower. Just make sure you get something that matches your skin type (i.e. something for oily skin, dry skin, prone to breakouts etc...)

Do you use an exfolient also? I don't know your skin type so I cannot tell you what to use, but I would prefer that you use an exfolient with soap in it. This way you can scrub all of the dead skin cells a way and clean and moisturize at the same time. Happy scrubbing!LOL;0)))

That would depend upon your skin type - each soap is made differently...
Personally I use Mary Kay 3-1 cleanser and it works great... I also use the same for moisturizer and body lotion -
After trying many different types and brands, I have found Mary Kay to be the best.... for me and those whom I have given samples to have come back and bought the product....
But, despite what I use - you have to find something that is right for you!
good luck in finding what you need and what works for you!

DONT use soap on your face. Soap dries out your skin, so I wouldnt recommend any type of soap.

Nuetrogena oil free acne wash - the one with the pump in the clear bottle with the orange liquid.
There is also a non acne wash available in a soap bar form.
