freckles! i hate mine?

Question

what are some ideas besides lemon juice that will rid of my freckles? i tried lemon juice and it doesn't work at all. i want them gone before august.

I have a few freckles and think that girls who have a few freckles look prettier.

If you want to get rid of them, unfortunately I don't think there's anything you can do. Freckles are uneven patches of melanin on the skin of light skinned people, caused by the presence of the melanocortin-1 receptor MC1R gene variant, meaning that it's genetic. Many freckles will fade with age, as have most of mine, usually disappearing completely at or around the age of 16 or 17. Do not, if you want to get rid of them, add suncream, this will only make them reappear after exposure to the sun. People with predisposition to freckles may be more likely to develop sunburn of skin cancer, although this risk isn't raised too much.

Sorry, lemon juice will remove skin stains (like on elbows and knees) but not pigment conditions...I don`t really know of any way to get rid of them...on the other hand, I think they are kinda cute, I have a lot of freckles and in Costa Rica this is considered kinda sexy...before you call me crazy or get mad, have you considered accepting them as part of you? I mean, August is right around the corner and it`s gonna be hard to change your complexion from here to then. So many people fight to look natural, and it`s as easy as not fighting at all and accepting yourself...in your case accepting your freckly self. Good luck.

I honestly think that freckles make you soo much more sexy!!! I don't have them but I know people who do and I just want to be near them!!! I prayed for a freckled baby but I didn't get any yet... so ultimatelly I think it's an issue of "the grass is greener" if you don't have freckles you wish you'd have them, and if you do, you wish you didn't... ??? You are wasting your time, as far as I can say... it's like trying to be white when you were born black... just accept yourself and love yourself the way you are, and work on the inside traits... that's what matters... I still think freckles are sexy.

i used to hate my freckles with a passion. ive always wanted that really nice practically doll like skin. you know what i mean? well over time ive become to realize that freckles are actually neat and make you look less dull and more lively. plus, most of the guys ive talked to like freckles. but if you want to "get rid of them" (nothing will) you can temporarily cover them with a tinted foundation and powder.

What works for me is the Sunless Tanning Lotion. Get it dark enough and it hides the freckles. They blend right in and you can barely see them. Better way is to get Mystic Tan at a tanning salon. It is much more even that way.

when I was younger I hated my freckles too!! I use to cover them up with concealer, now that I am older I like them...
stay out of the sun, and wear sunscreen!

Sugery is the easiest and fastest way to get rid of freckles, but it will cost you some money of course.

They used to say that freckles are angel kisses. Leave them alone, they're much cuter than age spots and wrinkles!

I can tell you to use sunscreen or stay out of the sun if you dont want anymore! Each year I get more from the sun. I like em, but if you hate them then you need to stay shaded.
