I use a pencil and after I put it on, I don't touch it.
Stays for me.

You don't need a waterproof eyeliner! Get an eye primer to help it stay on, and use a really good brand of eyeliner that doesn't smear, like Mary Kay.

Try using a soft retractable eyeliner. apply the liner on the inside of the eye next to the white part. Slide back and fourth several times. Your done, and it won't smear. Good luck!

Most higher end makeup stores or makeup counters (Mac, Clinque, Lancome etc...)sell eyeliner sealer. This just exactly what it says it does. Seals the eyeliner to prevent smearing and keeps it so its long lasting.

Use an eye makeup primer before you put on your liner. See the link below for a well-known variety. It helps hold the makeup in place. Also, use a waterproof formula - liquids last longer than waxy pencils, which tend to melt.

Change your eyeliner to MAC waterproof and apply a powder or light shadow around the area.

Swipe a Q-tip in skin-colored eyeshadow and run it underneath your eyeliner on your bottom lid. On the top lid, apply your eyeliner over your shadow to keep it from slipping.

you need waterproof eyeliner. that's the only way to prevent smearing. avon makes one that's great.

use liquid -period!! and nothing else also put powder on lids 1st.. pencils liners look thick and smear plus a waste when u sharpen them and you can practice with liquid by drawaing it on not black either they have grays- blues of all shades- greens -violets browns but never black to stark.. and u can lighten color dip brush in water..

use MAC eye liner gel...its not a liquid so its not messy...trust me this does not smudge at all...even if u sweat a lot...lol...pencils smudge for some reason and i do not why...but i recommend the MAC eye liner gel...i use it in blue and its fantastic...ppl always ask me why it doesnt smudge and well its because its a gel lol...it comes in like a little jar and u just use a brush to brush it in and put it on...thats it
