Yes, birth control isn't 100% effective and you can still get pregnant while on your period. It's not as common as other times of the month, but it can happen. If you think you're pregnant, wait a few days and take a test or see a doctor.

Most women can only get pregnant during ovulation. And of my knowledge when you are on your period you definately aren't ovulating, (at least you have a really short cycle, that last 21 days, and you have really long periods that last about a full week) I heard that was possible. But; if you have been on birth control at least 3 months minimum; You will be fine! Besides that is what birth control is for, it is a form of protection! But I can't say it will never happen, because whe it comes to sex, it can be soooooooo unpredictable! You should be ok though!

Not likely. If you have a 28 day cycle (some don't) You can usually only get prego between days 10 and 16 of your cycle. Your first day of your period is day one. Believe me, I've done a LOT of research on this. (I'm trying to GET prego) If you aren't sure, wait 2 weeks then take a test. And not an equate one. Those only detect .25 of the hormone, you need something like first responce or E.P.T. Early detection.

It is very rare. You would have to have an irregular menstrual cycle (ovulating while on your period) and have failure of your birth control method at the same time.

Second chances are no...you have ovulated about 2 weeks before your period so you would not be ovulating.
