ok if i was in that situation than i would ask him if he really likes me and he says yes than i would tell him i dont really feel that way but if he wanted to be friends and than see what happens next if ya stay friends or not..

You can get this message across to him by treating him like a girl-friend, and confiding in him, what you find attractive in a guy you dream of dating;
first be totally sure he has none of those qualities.

Just tell him the truth. If you lie to him and he finds out he's going to be really mad so just tell him that you want to be friends and nothing else

Take him somewhere so you two can be alone.
Then tell him that you're not intersted in him at the moment, but if you would still like to be friends with him, then tell him that.

say that all though you are flattered you think he is a great guy but you just dont like him like that and that a relationship would never work out between you

It is very easy, it is called comunication. Be upfront with da guy. And don't lead him on. If you don't do this now it might be very uncomfortable for you in da future.

sit him down and tell him your feelings, and be to the point, but not mean. you have to just tell him how you really feel, and dont play any games with him.
