I really want 2 get my belly button pierced. does any1 hav theirs done and if so, did it hurt a lot?? knowing all the pain that u underwent, would u get it pierced again???? wats ur advice??

It's not bad at all -- kind of like a bee sting but it doesn't keep hurting, just feels warm afterwards. You have to make sure to keep it clean (wash with disinfecting soap everyday) and keep some bacitracin on it for the first month or so. I took mine out now because I think 25 is too old to have a belly ring, but if you're young and have a flat stomach, go for it!

It was not that bad it was about 2 seconds of pain then done. Then your belly is sore and you don't want your shirt to touch it for a couple days. Keep it clean and it will heal quickly.
I had it done about 10 years ago took it out about 5 (had babies) and I am thinking about having ti done again very sooN!!

Most piercers will clamp off the area to be pierced, meaning that you shouldn't feel much (if any) pain. If you do get it pierced, though, be sure to take excellent care of it- follow the instructions your piercer gives you to the letter. Belly button piercings tend to get infected very, very easily, and THAT can hurt.

Belly rings are sexy, if you have the body. I got my done as soon as I turned 18. It didnt hurt much, and it is totally worth it. I love all my peircings. If you want to peirce more than one thing, do it at the same time. It will be cheaper, because you only use one needle, and the heeling will happen during the same time. Nose rings and tongue rings hurt like hell.

It doesn't hurt that bad at all. I had mine done several years ago. You just have to keep it clean and take care of it well. I took mine out because of a complication. I wouldn't do it again but ONLY because I'm too old for that kind of thing now :P

I have two. My upper and lower.And I love them. The pain is like NOTHING! Just make sure you get it done in a clean & safe place.
** also if you get pregnant they do not RIP out, they may migrate out. Meaning the grow closer to the surface until the come out. But they now sell a retainer for when you're pregnant and if you want to keep it open""

Don't do it. If you really want to make your belly beautiful, work out! Get ripped! Get in shape.

belly button rings are silly no matter who you are. and it is extremely extremely painful. my friend had hers pierced and she couldn't take it after a week. she took it out. so don't do it. it's too much of a hassle.

i pierced mine....TWICE!!
NEVER again!!! {i did it years ago}
the first one grew out...after patiently waiting 8 months for it to heal right, it grew out....sooooooooooo
someone said...it needs to be deeper...soooooo..blondie here...did it again!!!
one year later....tons of aggravation, 16 boxes of band aids....and wearing pants i hated!!....IT GREW OUT AGAIN!!!!
nope, sucked, it hurt, couldn't wear what i wanted, only what the ring would let me...hugs hurt,sex was unbearable...and it grew out anyway!!
my favorite piercing i have, and the one that makes people go.....ooooooooo did that hurt?...lol....is my tregus....that hard little part of you ear, i have had that one for 15 years without a moments grief....
