I just got hired to be a salesmen and I don't like salesmen and it my first job. I get paid pretty well and I get a % of the money on want I sell. I don't want to bother people at their homes. I think that I wouldn’t make good salesmen because I get nervous around new people. They also give college money and I do need it. I just need some good advice.

Stick it out if you can. But if you really don't want to do it, don't force it or you're going to just look like a bad salesman and they'll fire you. If you do decide to quit, do it on good terms and give them 2 or 3 weeks notice to find someone to replace you. You can also use them as references in the future then (you can't really use them if you flat-out quit or stop showing up because they won't give you a very good reccomendation and it will make you look irresponsible). If people get upset with you when you try to sell them something, just keep your cool and explain that you "just need college money and wanted a good, legitimate job and you're very sorry for wasting their valuable time" (or something like that, sound mature and keep it short and to the point).

Good luck!!

You should keep your sales job for at least four months and then quit in order to work for yourself, I work for other companies but it is a pain trying to follow their rules when they make someting big out of something that is enormously small, therefore I decided to work for my self. My Idea on a way to quit is to plan out the day that you are going to quit on. Start off with telling your manager that the job is not working well for you and then say that you are not made for the business, I he give you some other job, then refuse that too, and say that you have an Idea to work for yourself. It is logical to work for yourself because you will have a lower stress level, along with a level of contemptment to where you will be making more than what your manager make.

A good business to start is a business with America's Note Network.

With this business, you don't sell but you buy or refer.

College is your first priority. Stay there until you finish.

Most college grads had to work a crappy job in order to finish school. It's called paying dues. It won't be forever. Not only will you have a means to graduate, but you will also have steady work experience.
