I'm almost 6 months pregnant, and I started an office job right around the time I got pregnant. Sometimes, after sitting for a while and I stand up, when I try and sit down again I can't because my tail bone hurts so bad. Why is this? Is it related to my pregnancy?

Yes it is related to your pregnancy. It is your sciatic nerve and it is being compressed by the position of the baby. Chiropractors know how to help pregnant women with this problem too. Go get an adjustment? It has been known to send women to the ground if the nerve is compressed enough for a leg to "give out".

The chairs they have for secretaries are lousy for posture so you're probably having improper posture for being pregnant and having to sit in that chair all day isn't helping.

Ask your boss if you could borrow his/her chair for awhile and see if it helps.
