for an adult 5'1" and 106# is healthy, for a ten year old it is more than healthy. many ten year olds still have the "baby fat". To add to it, a 10 year old should not be worried about being fat or skinny.

No way! If you look online that is about perfect. I'm 4'11" and 94#s (and an adult) and looked much better when I was 100. If you have extra body fat than eating right and exercising will help. When you exercise and eat right (and are small) you gain weight because muscle weighs more than fat. But at your age I would speak to a professional first.

I don't think so. It really depends on your build and BMI. I do have one tip. On average a 5' girl will way 100 pounds. Usually a normal girl should gain 5 pounds for every foot above 5'. So being 5'1" on average by this average would be 105, but 1 pound doesn't mean anything. Good Luck!

Some people are big boned. Seriously. It depends on the proportion, not just height vs weigh ratio. If the person doesn't haven't a hard time running around and breathing, the kid should be fine.

If you're questioning your weight, you should ask a doctor. My opinion is if you have to ask, you're probably not fat. You're certainly not big enough that it is causes a physical problem because you would already know.
If your doctor doesn't tell you to lose weight, it's probably vanity pounds. meaning the only concern is whether you like or dislike the way it looks.

Of course not! The child is 5 ft. tall and one inch. I believe that is within the normal range for height and weight.

He's already 5'1"? It doesn't seem fat to me. Remember that as children get older, their shape changes.
