What is Keflex?
• Keflex is an antibiotic in a class of drugs called cephalosporins. Keflex fights bacteria in the body.
• Keflex is used to treat many different types of bacterial infections such as bronchitis, tonsillitis, ear infections, skin infections, and urinary tract infections.

CEFLIX (Cephalexin)

Indication: Acute tonsillitis, laryngopharyngitis, otitis media, sinusitis, bronchitis, respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infection, skin and soft-tissue infections caused by susceptible bacteria.

Dosage: Adult: Usual dosage is 250mg-500mg 4 times daily. Maximum dose 4g per day. Children: 25-50mg/kg 4 times daily.
