Would you rather have a friend that tells you the truth even if it hurts your feelings or would you rather have someone just appease you and not tell you the truth and preserve your feelings?

A friend that tells the truth.
That's what a true friend is all about. The truth. If you can't get the truth from your friend...who can you get it from? A friend is someone you can be honest with and confide in.

I would rather have a friend to tell me the truth. yes it might hurt at the time but if you are true friends you will get over it and thank them for being honest with you, then apologize to them for being angry with them. It is not a true friendship if you can't be honest with them. Someone girls I know were bestfriends for a really long time, like elementary. Well now they aren't friends because the one person asked them a question and she told them the truth and they were fine with the answer at least she thought she was, another friend of theirs mentioned the same thing to the her and she gave her the same answer and the other girl went back and told her and she got upset with her and doesn't want to be her friend anymore. Well she found out who her real friends are.
Bottom line is be honest, especially if they ask and if they get mad, give them a day or so if they don't want to talk to you anymore well u know what kind of friend they were.
Also think about things you asked them were they honest?

I would rather have a friend that tells me the truth no matter what, if that friend didn't then how would I know if I was doing something wring until someone else told me so and hurt myfeelings/ made me even more embarrasses then my friend would have!

I will take the truth over anything. If it hurts then maybe its something I could stand to change about myself.

a friend that will tell me the Truth why because that will be the friend that will have my book and look out for me
