I am looking for some way to reset the game to the original settings as new. if any of you know some way to do this don't be shy.

It isn't actually mine it belongs to my eight years old and i guess she skipped some of the manual!

When you start the DS, hit Nintendogs on the top screen.When it says Nintendo on the top screen and all the other stuff on the bottom screen, You need to press the A,B,X,Y,R, and L buttons down all together at the same time until the game screen says something like "Are you sure you want to delete your game?", answer "yes" and it will start deleting it. It takes a while, but don't turn off the power or the game will get screwed up. Hope I helped you!

You can start by reading the manual, but since you took time to type, I'd tell you.
To erase your save file and start the game over, follow these steps: While the game is loading (before the title screen), press and hold A, B, X, Y, L, and R simultaneously. Please note that all progress you've made in the game (including all of your Nintendogs and items) will be erased.
