I'm with you---Hillary would no doubt make a fine President. It takes a woman to do it right and I think that she would be a breath of fresh air for the whole country.

Wow, you are stupid aren't you. The Supreme court decided because THE LAW SAID HE WINS! I voted for Gore and I understand how the law works. Study the constitution and you'll see that complaining about something 6 YEARS AGO is completely unfounded. I don't guess at who will be the next president because for all we know, the Democratic Party could choose someone else to be the candidate, and then she doesn't even get on the ballot.

She also would bring an incredibly skilled first "man" and competent economic and international affairs team -- I don't care what anyone thinks of Bill C and his lack of personal morals, the guy implemented some of the strongest fiscal policies and common-sense social programs (including scaling back things like welfare and boosting the environment as well as the economy)
Until another politician (Dem or Republican) can pose new ideas like Bill and his guys did in 1992 then I am fine with hillary and her damaged political persona (and serious baggage, unfortunately)
But who else can you recommend?

I would put money on her NOT becoming our next Pres. If I knew you better, I'd take your money, too! :D
I'm not blinded by personal politics, either. I don't foresee the people electing a Republican president (unless the Dems put Kerry up again, which I don't foresee;) but I can't imagine how HR Clinton will rally enough support and enthusiasm to take the nomination.
It's way too early to guess (or put money on) who it WILL be, but at this point I'm thinking John Edwards.

I don't know if this country is ready to elect our first lady President. I think she could be, but then again I didn't honestly think Americans would vote for George Dubya the second time!

She will not be able to win the Democrat primaries. She was booed loudly by Democrats a few weeks ago at a Liberal Convention because she refused to support a cut and run date.
