A lot. Sodas out of the machine are $2.00. Your best bet is to not eat there. Bring a picnic lunch. Then you have to decide whether or not you want souvenirs. ( An arm and a leg.) I had $200 mad money when I went and I ended up spending more than that.

The answer depends on a lot! Are you trying to budget spending money for souvenirs, food, drinks, extra things like boat or bike rentals- or all of those things?
We like to budget $50 a day per adult for meals, which would include any snacks or drinks we want outside of sit-down meals. For souvenirs we usually budget one set amount for the whole family. As our kids get older, we will probably change it to smaller amounts per individual. For now, we try to budget at least a couple hundred for that. We've been to WDW several times, so don't really "need" any souvenirs, but could easily buy way too much stuff anyway, if we didn't set a budget.
We're not really big on extra stuff, like bike rentals, fishing boat rides or anything like that, but my husband does like to golf there. That usually has a budget of $75-$100 a round.
You can take a lot less than that, and still have a wonderful vacation though. This is just the amounts we've come to find are good for us. Depending on your tastes for shopping and eating, you may find that you need more than that.

Try some websites like wwww.allears.net or www.intercot. com to get a better guage on just what you want to do there, and then you may be able to better budget.

Have fun!

If you are going to be doing a lot of shopping and extras besides your tickets and dinning (which if you're staying on site you might want to look into the dinning package) you want to look at a couple hundred a day depending on your spending habits.

Keep in mind if you are interested in the water parks, DisneyQuest, Pleasure Island, Wide World of Sports, or Cirque de Soliel they are extra admissions. You can purchase an add on to your tickets for admission to a certain number/ amount of times you can visit there places (this doesn't include Cirque, that's separate).

Also, think about your souvenir shopping. If you're a huge Disney fan you're going to want to buy a lot or if you're buy presents for a lot of people. Check out Downtown Disney for the best shopping.

I listed the all ears net site below, it give you menus and a list of shops at downtown Disney and other details about Disney to help give you a better idea of how much to bring.

There are a lot of variables here, for example, what have you paid for, have you paid for food and tickets, these are the two major expenses for most people. Also, how long are you going, how many people are going, etc.

I like to take credit cards, it is easier and then I don't have to mess with cash. But, I usually take $2,000+ for spending money and credit cards, you never know what you may find or need.

I would say a good average is about $300 per day for a family of four, but that would probably be a little low for most families.

But again, without knowing more details, it is hard to give a good estimate.

The best thing to do is to get a park-hopper pass for the same number of days you are there. You can see how much they cost at www.disney.com under the vacations link. That way you can use it at any park for the length of your stay and not have to worry about carrying around admissions money. If you're the kind of person who likes souvenirs, expect to spend a lot. Eat breakfast at your hotel so you spend a little less on food. Lunch and dinner for one a day can cost at least $30. Souvenirs are the pricy thing to watch out for. So depending on how many people are going for how long, and if you like to shop, will determine how much you should bring. I would personally bring $200.00 in cash, and I always have my credit card handy for emergency splurges.

Last year I spent $50 on just 'stuff' on a trip there with my 3 kids. I had already spent waaay too much on the tickets, rooms, gas, food, etc. You could easily spend hundreds on just 'stuff'. Easily! If you had enough money, you could spend a million there.
Only spend as much as you can afford or less. The memories will last a lifetime no matter what you buy. Tell kids they can only have 1 or 2 things. That way they might think about whether they really have to have a mickey mouse toy car, or if they'd rather wait and see what's in the store corresponding to their favorite character.

If you want to eat and buy souvenirs I suggest you take about $150 to $200 a day (for yourself) You may not need that much but it's better to have more than not enough. Have a wonderful time! I wish I were going to Disney World, too.

(1) Bring a credit or debit card, and have the front desk of your hotel set it up on your room key - you can pay for almost anything in DisneyWorld with the room key - and you don't have to carry alot of cash.

(2) Get the meal plan, that is also listed on your room key. There is no need to pay extra for meals - the meal plan is a great deal.

(3) BUY the plastic mug the first day you get there, and take it for free refills in your hotel, morning, noon, and night (if you have the chance). This saves on soft drinks.

(4) HAVE AN AWESOME TIME!!

depending on wither or not you are staying at a hotel, gas, car rental, drinks, food, and how many days you are planning on staying.
No more than five hundred dollars, or you could check out the web site and see what the tickets cost along with a reasonable amount for food, drinks, and gifts.
Keep in mind how many people are going and about how much you can actually afford to spend.
