Talk Shows.
We have enough talking in this world. Why do we need to watch a show on T.V of people talking? I guess I understand some interviews, but everything else, I cant stand!

Reality shows. They're completely staged! Most of the drama that the American public feeds off is just technicians rearranging things to look worse then they are. Game shows are fun, if only because people will do anything for money, and talk shows aren't too horrible. Sitcoms are the best!

It really depends. I've seen some really AWFUL examples of each type of show, where the show is insulting to people's intelligence, it's so lame.
However, on the flip side, I've seen some very GOOD, enjoyable and well-thought-out examples of each show type as well.
So it really is IMPOSSIBLE to generalize, because there's so much variation in quality among all these types of shows. :)
The theme I'm the most tired of, however, is the reality show. In the past 5 years, I think the TV networks have gone bananas with reality shows. No matter what crazy scenario you can imagine -- they've conjured it up! It really is a getting a little old. *chuckle* The only reality show I'm a true fan of is Big Brother, which began in 2000 and was one of the true front-runners of the craze.

Reality shows because I can't take all the stupidity that they cram onto one show.
Reality shows take advantage of the fact that some people crave attention so much that they will debase themselves for the amusement of others.
There are a few reality shows that aren't bad, that actually help people, and those are okay (i.e. extreme home makeover, supernanny, etc).
Others (Jerry Springer, Survivor, Fear Factor) make people go through extremes that we would never normally expose people to just to make the people at home happy. They are humiliated, expected to eat gross things, and to air their dirty laundry on national TV. It's disgusting and if another reality show was never made again I would be really happy.

game shows. I find them completely stupid and mind numbing to watch. It hurts me to know some of those people are wandering the streets. Just look at Fear Factor (i know this could be considered reality but its a game so..yeah) anybody who will eat the anus of a cow is not normal in my book.
Reality TV can actually be funny and not so sickening, Talk shows don't really annoy me...I mean some of them actually have real problems and its sad or they are just stupid and its hilarious. Sitcoms...well that is actually real TV and calling them the worst thing is basically dissing the idea of TV.

Reality shows because after a while, there is nothing real about them. The producers invoke situations where s**t is bound to happen. It's becoming cheesy because every show is the same and all the people are identical drones.

Reality shows..They are on just about every channel and on everynight of the week..I've gotten to the point where watching t.v. bores me to death. All the good sitcoms finished up this year.So I wonder if the are putting reality shows in their place..another reason to dread watching the television
