Ok so I HAD thsi friend who lives nere me. And we would have fun causeing miscuf (srry for my spelling) and just have a lot of fun. But that was when we were little. But when we got to 6th grade she hung out with my group of friends. She was mean, back-stabbing, she gossiped, and was always trying to be populair. All things I HATE in a friend. Well things ended between us in 7th grade, and this year, 8th grade I haven;t had to deal with her at all. But nwo she's in a lot fo my classes next year and she's in my lunch. And in those classes, she has no one but me and my friends to "relate" to.

I don;t know what to do about her. I know she will try to be our friend again and be just as mean and horrible to us. What shoudl I do to get a clear message across that I will not deal with problems with her again this year?

You both have now reached the age where you should be able to be straight-forward and honest enough to mention this issue to her without things getting catty. On the first instance of you hanging out together again you should tell her that you really value her friendship and that you are thankful that you guys have the chance to again be friends after being friends when you were so immature. Set a tone of maturity without throwing any accusations or insults and she should be receptive. Don't, by any means, say that you don't want to start getting into mischief again - she'll just get defensive and think you are saying she is like that now. If she is still at that petty level, your behavior will most likely make her naturally seek out someone else to be friends with. Good luck, I hope this helps!

you could give her another chance and if she starts being like that again then drop her for good.. or you can just tell her to leave you alone cause you want nothing to do with her.

Just tell her that if she wants to hang out with you then you won't take any **** from her. But if you don't want to talk to her at all, then just tell her that you don't want to be her friend just because she doesn't have any of her "popular" to talk to.
