I think that the meaning behind why you picked the name is the most important thing. Go for it. I named mine after someone very special to me and it means alot to my son now that he is old enough to understand why I named him that name.
Sounds great

Considering the fact that you really have to get to know someone to discover thier first name, I like it. Just be aware that children are very cruel and will make fun of just about anything. Don't make Felix the first name, and the name should be just fine.

Not so good. It reminds me of Michael Jackson and the X-rated cartoon Felix the Cat. However, surviving such a name is sure to give your child strong character.

I think it is alright...it doesn't sound bad anyway. Which name is named after your good friend? Michael, by the way, is so overused. Felix is interesting.

It sounds pretty good. Actually people give their full name on the very official papers, otherwise they put just initials. After all it's all a matter of habit. But if it gives you a satisfaction about a friend's name you will and should live in peace with it. :)

I also have a good friend too. I been in love with him for years. I want to name my first son after him. His name would be Richard.

I think that's a really nice name, but you would've put the question in the "Pregnancy and Parenting" category.
