These referees are pitiful. Granted they did go to all the teams and say what they would be cracking down on all the cards are getting ridiculous. I mean come on haven't they heard of the spirit of fair play. Call a foul if you have to, talk to the player and last resort card him. Somethings are worthy of a card but not 5 yellows and .2 reds a game. That's getting kind off sad.

Thats a refs dream, being on the biggest stage in the world, all those people watching. It would be amazong to do that. Maybe one day I will seeing as I am a ref. I really don't think any refs have been sent home. If you think some of these games have been bad then you have no idea what you're watching.

But no, I would have no interest in applying-sounds like a death wish. And I'd rather sit back and watch the game then be running around and 'not watching' it.
