I seem to run into you a lot. Nice to recognize someone here.
A good rule of thumb is if they taste good together, grow them together. Like tomatoes and basil with oregano. Plant beans under corn-pole beans-theyll climb the corn. Plant squash under the beans. The indians called this the 3 sisters it works so well.

I've grown basil and tomatoes together, also tomatoes and calendula. Marigolds are good garden companions to most everything.
