Okay, I don't exactly know what to say. I just don't know about myself anymore. I just feel like I don't belong. I'm an average guy, I've dated six girls in the last four years and while I may be a geek I'm not completely out there (No offense to those who are). I just don't think I fit with my morals about living. Sex is a big one, I think people are way too passive about it. (Mind you I'm agnostic, so no religious reasons for me to be like this.) Society disgusts me with all of it's crude traits. Most of my morals are terribly old-fashioned it would seem. Needless to say I'm a romantic (as a life-style, not just with relationships). I just don't see anyone with the same views as I do. Fidelity is almost non-existent, people are rarely courteous, and desire seems to win over will in almost every case I hear about. I feel disgustingly alone in my thoughts and I just don't know what's wrong with me. I hope thi smade enough sense for me to get some feedback on.

I could not agree with you more. I think the morals in our society have plummeted to an all time low. All you can do is (when you have children), raise them right and hope they continue on to make a difference in the world ahead of them. You are not alone. I hope you find some awesome woman who shares the same concerns as you so you will not feel so alone. I know you said that you are agnostic, but some churches might have volunteer groups where you could make a difference with a whole bunch of people like yourself (except the God part).

There isn't anything wrong with you and you are not outdated.
People in general have different beliefs and live styles and that is their choice.
However you do not need to have the same views as everyone else to have friends or be in a relationship of any kind.
If you are seeking a life partner then dating is a good way to find people in general however there are a lot of bad eggs to go threw before you find the right one. So good luck on your journey and don't change who you are as a person or your morals and believes, they make you who you are.
There is a saying Judge not lest you be judged. So keep an open mind when you are talking with others and going out with others. There is no rule that says everyone has to think alike that is what makes the world go round.

yes you are outdated. Those were the old days when the husband would come home with flowers for no reason.

As for fidelity, I feel the same way you do. Once a committment has been made it should not be broken. My husband feels the same way.

As for sex, IMO, it strengthens a relationship; married or not.

I see it this way, you can either change your views and be happy, or continue living the way you do and be disgusted and unhappy.

There's nothing wrong with you.We all have these feelings, myself included. We all have our own moral compass we have to follow and yours is pointing you in a good direction.
Just know this, you are not alone.Everything you said is exactly the way many of us out here feel.

Sounds to me like you are feeling quite lonely! I think you need to broaden your horizon and go and do something completely out of the ordinary~ GET A TATTOO, CUT YOUR HAIRSTYLE, GO TO A CLUB, GET A COUPLE OF NEW OUTFITS, GO TO A LOCAL BAR AND HANG OUT!

Dude, you only live once, so change whatever you don't like about yourself and live on~

Please tell me where you live cause I think I want to marry you! Some may call you outdated but I love it. I love the old ways (with a mix of the new) but I guess you can't have it all.
